a wedding gift in 1995 was the beginning of my love affair with pottery and after all these years, it continues to challenge and inspire me.  working with clay and making functional ceramics is a constant reminder of the beauty and resonance of simple things - a warm hug, a reassuring smile, an unexpected kindness, time with the people we love.  these things bring us joy!  so does a life marked by passion, authenticity and thought.
